Hey guys,
I got a Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 tablet and to get it running with 4k natively it needs to hooked directly USB-C (with DP alt mode). And since I have a Rampage 5 Extreme I dont have that and have to run ut through the Wacom Link adapter with DP and USB-A which doesn't support full resolution (only 1440p).
So my question is that if you know any PCI-E cards that support USB-C with Displayport Alternate Mode? Can I get that with the Asus ThunderboltEX card for example?
I know there's some tricks to get this working with the adapter which involves a short dp 1.2 cable, but that unfortunately not an option for me at the moment. And despite that its worth a lot to not use tha adapter.
Before you begin
Make sure your Mac is running the latest version of macOS.
If your display is blank or not detected
Try these steps if you don't see an image on your display.
Check how many displays you can connect
